Curling Leaves Candlewick Shawl

Depending on your choice of yarn, this self-shaping triangular shawl pattern can be worked thick and warm for winter or delicate and lacy for a summer evening.

Worked from neck edge to tip, the width and finished size is fully customisable.

The pattern can be easily modified, to make an unusual scarf, by starting with a longer length and working approximately 7” (17.5cm) of pattern.

Materials: Can be worked with any yarn and an appropriate sized hook. Quantities vary.

The teal shawl in the pictures measures 60” wide (unstretched) and used ~1000m of Hayfield Bonus Aran weight (with 20% wool) and a 5.50mm hook.

Pattern is written in UK terms with US equivalents where applicable.
